Mr. Damilola FRANCIS
College Officer
Over three decades ago, Mr. Damilola Francis was born in Idanre Local Government Area, Ondo State. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics Education from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Master’s in Educational Technology. He is professionally trained and awarded by the British International Safety Organization and Institute of Arts Management & Professionals in Human Resource Management, Health and Safety at Work, Environmental Awareness, and First Aid.
Additionally, he is professionally certified in 21st Century University Administration, effective communication, writing format, and minute-taking techniques, knowledge guide to presentation of reports, soft skills for university administrators, office etiquette (Human Resource Management), understanding, applications, and implementation of University Rules and Regulations, computational thinking, and Microsoft Innovative Education among others. He is also a registered student of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).
Before his present role as College Officer at the College of Humanities, Social and Management Sciences, he has worked in various administrative capacities at McPherson University such as Personal Assistant to the pioneer Vice-Chancellor; Dean, College of Postgraduate Studies, Directorates of Academic Planning, Research, Innovation, and Development and currently serving as a secretary to six committees. He was commended twice by the pioneer Vice-Chancellor, former Registrar, and present Ag. Registrar for his outstanding and impressive performance in the last academic session.
He has translated his passion for nation-building, leadership, and academic excellence through his regular mentorship, teaching, and commitment to building young people at McPherson University and students in secondary schools around McPherson University. He is a Special Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), an instrumentalist, singer and composer.
