The Management of McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Isaac Oladepo Onigbinde as Director, Centre for Research and Innovation, effective August 1, 2025, for the 2025\/2026 academic session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Professor Onigbinde is a distinguished scholar, seasoned marketing strategist, and business consultant. He currently serves as Professor of Marketing and Business Strategy in the Department of Business Administration, College of Humanities, Social & Management Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An alumnus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, the University of Ibadan, the University of Lagos, and Babcock University, he holds degrees in Psychology, Business Administration, and a Ph.D. in Marketing & Strategic Management. He also completed advanced training at Regenesys Business School, Mumbia, India, earning a Certificate in Advanced Digital Marketing, and is a RECAP Fellow of the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His professional journey spans both corporate and academic sectors. He worked with Nigerian Breweries Plc and European Soaps & Detergent Ltd, before moving into academia in 2010. He joined McPherson University in 2012, as a pioneer faculty member and rose to the rank of Professor in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At McPherson University, Professor Onigbinde has held several leadership positions, including Ag. Head of Department, Ag. Dean of Student Affairs, Director of Academic Planning, and Chairman of the Central Accreditation Committee. His expertise covers entrepreneurial marketing, consumer behaviour, energy marketing, and business strategy, with a proven record of training executives from leading multinational companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A prolific researcher, he has authored over sixty scholarly publications in reputable journals, presented at international conferences in Africa and Europe, and served on editorial boards of many academic journals. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, and several other professional bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
