{"id":11252,"date":"2026-05-04T17:58:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-04T16:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcu.edu.ng\/?p=11252"},"modified":"2026-07-29T09:29:23","modified_gmt":"2026-07-29T09:29:23","slug":"nuc-visits-mcpherson-university-for-accreditation-of-four-new-postgraduate-programmes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcu.edu.ng\/main\/nuc-visits-mcpherson-university-for-accreditation-of-four-new-postgraduate-programmes\/","title":{"rendered":"NUC Visits McPherson University for Accreditation of Four New Postgraduate Programmes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The National Universities Commission (NUC) has conducted a resource verification visit to McPherson University, as part of the accreditation process for four additional postgraduate programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programmes presented for accreditation include: Business Administration (PGD, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D.), Mass Communication (PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D.), History &amp; International Studies (M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D.), and Microbiology (PGD, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During their exit, the various accreditation teams commended the University for its serene and conducive learning environment, as well as its facilities and qualified manpower across the programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking during the visit, the Vice-Chancellor, Francis Igbasan, appreciated the teams for their thorough assessment and constructive feedback.
