Brief Profile
Rev. Dr. Charles Olagoke FASHOLA, a distinguished engineer, business leader, and pastor with over three decades of professional experience spanning engineering, strategic management, and pastoral leadership, took over from another quintessential professional, Rev. Dr. Babatunde Idowu, as McPherson University’s 4th substantive Pro-Chancellor and Governing Council Chairman on August 1, 2026. He is the Managing Director of SEACOF Engineering Services Limited, where he provides strategic direction and delivers innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Rev. Dr. Fashola holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Swiss Business School, Zurich; an MBA and Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from Ahmadu Bello University; and a Bachelor of Theology in Pastoral Studies. He also serves as Pastor-in-Charge and District Overseer for the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, providing spiritual leadership and community engagement.

A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FNIEEE), Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (ANICA) and Fellow of the Institute of Administrators and Researchers of Nigeria (FIARN), he also serves on the Board of Trustees of McPherson University.
