Professor Igbasan specifically commended the committee’s pivotal role in the success of the 13th matriculation exercise, as well as the 8th and 9th convocation ceremonies. He stated that “their tireless efforts and attention to detail ensured that events were not only memorable but also reflected the high standards of McPherson University, known for knowledge, integrity, and service.”

In his response, Dr. Babatunde Lawal, Chairman of the Ceremonies Committee, thanked the Vice-Chancellor and the Management team for their trust, which allowed the committee to demonstrate their sincere commitment to service. He also informed the Management that the committee would continue to collaborate and celebrate McPherson University’s achievements with strength and expertise, working towards shared goals and ensuring distinct inspiration at all times.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor similarly lauded the committee’s efforts in ensuring the smooth running of campus events, effectively channelling the fervour with which the Vice-Chancellor continues to inspire them. Sharing the same sentiment, the University Bursar offered “motherly blessings” to the committee members in the form of prayers.

Dr. Sunday Omeike, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, expressed his admiration for the keen interest the university management has taken in the committee’s work. He promised that all members intend to maintain their efforts, encouraged by the university management’s supportive gesture. Concluding the event, the Vice-Chancellor assured all committee members that their contributions are highly valued. He indicated that some individuals who have performed exceptionally will be assigned additional responsibilities within the university system, while others will be retained for the sake of continuity. The gathering concluded on a celebratory note, with attendees enjoying classical African tunes.
