Professor Adewumi Olubunmi Ajibade is a distinguished academic and communications expert currently serving as the Director, Centre for Continuing Education at McPherson University. With a career spanning over four decades in the field of Mass Communication, he has established himself as a leading authority in journalism, media history, and strategic communication. His professional journey is marked by a deep commitment to both theoretical excellence and the practical application of communication strategies to solve societal issues.
His academic foundation was built at the University of Lagos, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in 1987, Master of Science in 1990, and Doctor of Philosophy in 2010, all in Mass Communication. He dedicated twenty-five years of his career to the University of Lagos, rising to the position of Senior Lecturer. During this tenure, he was responsible for teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, while also serving in administrative capacities such as Course Adviser and Program Coordinator for various academic sessions.
