McPherson University proudly celebrates one of its outstanding alumnae, Esther Daopuye, a graduate of the B. Sc. Accounting programme, Class of July 2018, who is making remarkable strides in the global accounting and consulting space.
Currently serving as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte in the United States, Esther’s professional journey has been marked by excellence and service. After earning her degree from McPherson, she proceeded to the University of New Haven for a Master’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in Analytics, where she also served as a Graduate Assistant in the Admissions Department.
Her career portfolio includes key roles at Nasdaq as a Business Analyst, KPMG Nigeria as an Audit Intern, and Zenith Bank Plc as a Funds Transfer and Customer Service Associate. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma honour, a global recognition of academic excellence in business.
Beyond her corporate achievements, Esther is passionate about social impact. She co-directs Benshil Logistics Ltd, a clean water initiative serving her community, and plays an active role in her family’s educational institution. She is also the founder of Hashing It Out with Hadassah, a mentorship platform dedicated to helping teenage girls navigate the challenges of adolescence.
Guided by her favourite scripture, Psalm 36:9 “For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light”, Esther continues to lead a purpose-driven life of leadership, service, and mentorship, inspiring generation of change makers.
