The resumption and registration exercise commenced with the Faculty of Nursing Science on Monday, October 19, 2026, and will continue with the College of Computing on Tuesday, October 20. The Faculty of Medical Laboratory Science and the College of Law are scheduled to receive their students on Wednesday, October 21, while the College of Humanities, Social and Management Sciences will receive its students on Thursday, October 22. Students in Public Health, Health Information Management, and the College of Natural and Applied Sciences are expected on Friday, October 23.

As part of the exercise, parents and guardians were received at the University’s 500 Seater Ultra Modern Lecture Theatre, where they were briefed on the institution’s policies, academic expectations and student support systems. The engagement featured the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Kenneth Nwoko; the Director, Information and Public Relations, Mr Tokunbo Olakunle; the Acting Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Dr Abiola Omotoso; and the Acting Dean, Student Affairs, Dr Kayode Olumurewa, among other university officials.

The Parents Consultative Forum (PCF), led by its Chairman, Elder Kola Adeniyi, and other executive members, was also present to observe the exercise.
