The Management of McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Adeduro Oladapo Olalekan as the Acting Director, ICT–RMU.

Dr. Adeduro obtained a B.Tech. in Computer Science (2006) from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State. He later earned an M.Sc. in Computer Science (2015) from the University of Lagos, Akoka–Yaba, Lagos State, and successfully completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science (2023) at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State.

Prior to this appointment, he served as the Acting Head, Department of Cyber Security at McPherson University. He is a committed researcher and a seasoned cyber security expert with extensive experience spanning both academic and professional settings.

In addition to his academic qualifications, Dr. Adeduro has earned several certifications in critical areas of information technology and cybersecurity. These include Ethical Hacking; Fundamentals of Encryption and Quantum-Safe Techniques; Serverless Computing Using Cloud Functions; Data Privacy Fundamentals; Data Visualization with Python; Data Visualization; Building Cloud-Native and Multi-Cloud Applications; and End-to-End Security for Cloud Applications.

He is also an active member of several reputable professional bodies. He has been a member of the International Information Systems Auditing and Control Association (ISACA) since September 2012, the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) since April 2019, the Academia in Information Technology Profession (AITP) since April 2019, and the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria), CPN.
